Quick quetion, is 4J a subsidiary of Mojang or are they a 2nd party Dev?

Separate I think. Mojang doesn't own them.

I don't think they will change much with Minecraft except end updates for it earlier then it probably would had without the sale. Then I'm going to guess they release a sequel that's exclusive to there brands.

Thanx. I wonder what's going to happen now that Minecraft belongs to MS.

Yes horses... now i can get around faster cause the sprint is slow compared to PC, also would like to be able to make bigger farms of animals because you can't have that many.

Hmm, horses and what else? I wonder how out of sync they're prepared to get.. There's a load of 1.8 content that could be comparatively easy to add. Slime blocks and different door types etc.

Much more than horses. If you read the article, I explain how they are basically including features from three PC updates for the next console update.

Do we know that for sure though? I assumed they meant their own take on the update. Currently the console and mobile versions aren't exact mirrors of any single PC update - with weird changes here and there. It wouldn't surprise me if they have a different road map, especially as the world generator code is unlikely to be the same overhaul it got in the PC version.

It seems silly that they would attempt to replicate the same updates, as later ones could make parts of their work redundant - if they have the latest source available I'd pick and choose what bits make most sense to add.

Mobile version is definitely the weirdest, missing many mobs but still having infinite maps.. The hell. You'd think allowing it on phones would mean they'd do the same on consoles (particularly ps4/X1)
