Twinfinite takes a look look at the adorable Nanyang Polytechnic student project, Monomino, releasing Oct 3 on Steam and mobile platforms.
Monomino does exactly what you expect of it, pass the time while on lunch, in your nearest internet cafe or at home waiting for dinner to hit the plate. The game is certainly value for money on Steam, going for €5.99 at the time of writing. With its entertaining nature, overall cuteness and tough levels it’s easy to block out the flaws and enjoy the ride.
Monomino is a playful puzzle game published by Degica. Originally intended as a final-year project at Nanyang Polytechnic, School of Interactive & Digital Media in Singapore, Monomino has morphed into a full retail release.
Johnny Quid writes: "A delightfully casual game that's both challenging and addictive, Monomino will have you clocking out early for lunch, then clocking in a whole half an hour late. It's a highly addictive game that's anything but dumb and easy."
