That, according to Google, is about $66 for an annual sub. That's...a lot.

lelo2play1504d ago (Edited 1504d ago )

That's more or less the same price in Europe: 50€ = $64.

My advice for South Africans... if you only have a PS4, PS+ at this moment is not worth it, unless you absolutely have to play games online on the PS4. Get a decent PC (or even a WiiU) and play your online games there for free.

Pay one payment of 64$ or buy a whole new console + games to play online for free ?

I say just pay the 64$.

Still waiting for a PS plus to drop to go on sale to $35. That's my buy it now price.

I gladly pay $66 a year for a good service like PSN

Applejack1504d ago

Even though I have no problem with PSN, I would not pay that much for a yearly service.

Title scared me for a moment. I thought this meant everywhere..

theindiearmy1504d ago (Edited 1504d ago )

It's to make up for them paying $43 USD this whole time.

PS+ is still the equivalent of $40 where I live.

Kivespussi1504d ago

Lucky you, used to be 35€ (actually 50€ code to PSN store for 35€ which is way better) where I live but then they went and changed the law because people were abusing ordering stuff online, hah.

badz1491504d ago

That sucks. I hope they don't increase the price here too as we receive stuff later than the US or EU on PS+

slappy5081504d ago

Yeah just got an email informing me of that. And it says the price will increase slightly from 489 to 749 Zar lol
