Sony Targets Xbox One FIFA 15 Download Bundle With Physical Disc

"Some customers are up in arms over Microsoft's Xbox One bundle which includes a copy of FIFA 15. The problem is that it's not made explicitly clear that players will have to redeem an online code and download their copy of FIFA 15, rather than just place a disc in the tray and get on with it." - TGC

See..competition is good. We gamers get savings and things that we normally don't get if there is a monopoly.

tropies added because of achievement

Xbl gold get free games because of PSN+

Sony throwing in free games because of MS bundle.

The list goes on and if anyone disagreed otherwise..you are not a real gamer but a hater.

TongkatAli3498d ago

I fing love trophies, Microsoft is awesome for making the achievement system.

XanderZane3497d ago

I also love the HOME button. I'm glad Microsoft put this on the Xbox 360 controller and watched Sony & Nintendo copy it to great lengths.

Did anyone complain when they got a PS4 with a DD game that had to be loaded before they could play? Probably not. To me, this isn't even a big deal. You can actually start playing the game when the game reaches 30-35% complete. What's the problem?

I do love the trophy idea, I am glad Sony used Micro's idea of achievements.

I think this is the first time I actually agree with you, but I still don't consider MS "healthy" competition.

Well you can list only good things about competition if you want but you also got to see the other side of the medal :
EXCLUSIVE DEALS (different than 1st party studios or IPs)
enough said
and the bit about 'if you dont agree your not a gamer..etc'
no comment {sigh}

@S_D_F_Repellent

sony was going to put a trothy system in the ps2 long before the xbox came out just that the internet at that time was not upto the mark was nothing to do with MS putting achievements in there console also sony have always given physical copies of triple A titles with there bundles but you got everything else right.

ps i am a gamer not a hater i like both consoles but the best is ps4 atm until something better comes along which im sure will happen eventually.

I'm a big fan of Digital games but with games like fifa that get obsolete the next year I prefer physical discs.

badz1493498d ago

with games like FIFA which is broken at what it promised to deliver, physical copy is the way to go so that you can return it after you got frustrated by it fairly quickly!

Bzone243497d ago

Seems like that'd be the opposite. Sports games lose their value quicker than almost any other genre. Practically worthless once the next title comes out. Might as well go digital for a game that has no resale value after a year.

Kinect 2.0 should work pretty well with this technology without the need for a PC.
