Arguable the best Dragon Quest ever.

Enemy3579d ago

Nope, after the terrible Dragon Quest 8 port, Square-Enix can shove it.

ValKilmer3579d ago

This actually looks like they put some effort into it, though.

hkgamer3578d ago

dq8? where did that get ported to?

knifefight3578d ago (Edited 3578d ago )

Phones and tablets. iOS and I think Android.

It was terribad.

Edit: WTF people are weird. Someone clicked "disagree" on you for asking a question? The internet, man....

hkgamer3578d ago

googled for reviews, does seem like a bad port.

damnit s-e stop porting to mobile and give vita fans some love.

LAWSON723578d ago (Edited 3578d ago )

I played it and thought isn't was okay and seriously the port has a 4.6 on the android store so I think people on here are overreacting and making something seem worse than what it really is like SE haters love to do.

I finished the fan-translated SFC version, it was very nice.

Jubez1873578d ago

Did the same a few years ago. I had 2 Sages for the final boss and it made it sooooo easy. I love these games though, so simple but so good. Just pure adventure through and through.

Chrono Trigger and FF VI.

These would print millions.

ZeekQuattro1139d ago

Square really needs to get on this. Not sure what they are waiting on. That's easy money right there.

SegaSaturn6691139d ago

Final Fantasy 6 100%. I'd also put Star Ocean 2 in the running. It's surprising we haven't seen an entire FF series boxset.

Nebaku1139d ago

I'd love to see Star Ocean 2 but, I won't hold my breath. The series has fallen in relevance and doesn't have a particularly notable fan-base.

FinalFantasyFanatic1138d ago

Hell, they could do a large portion of their retro catalogue, bring a heap of old FF/DQ games back this way with the odd game here and there that don't fall into one of those two franchises.

Inverno1139d ago

I'd love a Pokemon game in this style. Honestly I hope this starts a trend, and brings back some of those awesome 2D games from the retro ages from the grave. Imagine all the Mother games remade made in this style!

Outlawzz1139d ago

Yea this style is amazing. Idk how it took so long for it to pop up

Runechaz1139d ago

Shining Force 1-2-3, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Phantasy Star IV, Skies of Arcadia, Dragon Force, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Evermore. Lufia 2,
