It has been over 12 years since Liquid Entertainment released a game in the acclaimed Battle Realms franchise. But it appears that for fans of the series, the wait may be over.
Liquid Entertainment has launched a Kickstarter for a new game called Battle Realms Legends, described as a "CCG/Strategy game/RPG hybrid" by APGNation.com. The game shares the same Battle Realms setting and picks up the story where the original game ended.
Gamers unfamiliar with the original games will have their chance to catch up, as well. Yesterday, the original Battle Realms game and its expansion sequel Winter of the Wolf were Greenlit for distribution on Steam.

Today, during the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. tournament at EVO Japan, Sega revealed a character returning to the New Virtua Fighter game.
