FF Type-0 HD Release Date Announced, Will Include Final Fantasy XV Demo Download Code

For all those who have been waiting for Final Fantasy XV news/information, Square Enix has finally heard your prayers. Square Enix has just announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will launch on March 17, 2015 and it will feature download code for FFXV demo.

This is a smart decision for putting the demo in FF type 0 , because it will push the sales of the game so much just like Mgs 2 demo and Halo 3 demo . I am sure alot of people are preordering it just for the demo but actually type 0 is a great game so thats awesome.

I wouldn't think so,FF-T-O is more of action rpg all the other FF games are turned based.But if this is true that a FF-XV demo will be included then FF-XV will be the first action rpg in the series,which they say plays somewhat like the Kingdom Hearts series which is developed by the same people of Final Fantasy.

No. Every mainline FF has a different story/world. Unless we are talking about sequels like FFX-2.(Type-0 may count as a spin off, but still has its own world, characters, etc.)

I would recommend playing anything from IV, VI, VII and IX to get an understanding of the series' heritage (and the best examples of the series to date), regardless of similarities to the latest entry. You'll meet a lot of the common themes, recurring characters/enemy types/tropes (airships, moogles, chocobos etc.) and you'll be able to understand the inevitable whine fest that will break out all over the internet once it releases and/or people play the game for the first time. The older games will be quite different in many ways because they're turn based and are all from a bygone era where storytelling wasn't exactly where it is now, but these games were landmarks for their time and I still love them. Hopefully, you will too.

There's not much about FFXV that makes me think it's "final fantasy." I'm too used to the swords & sorcery look and the Job system. If this game was launched other a different title..would people think it's FF?
