Run Like Hell! Vita Review | GamersFTW

Run like hell! is a fast paced plat-former from Polish developer Mass Creation, the game is a port of the original ios release back in 2012. Run like Hell! is a runner game meaning that the protagonist will travel from one end of the screen to the other maintaining his/her speed while it is up to the player to clear obstacles. Both the controls and the mechanics of Mass Creation’s runner work well since the Vita’s buttons are very responsive, this means that actions such as regulating how high the protagonist will jump or when the player’s character needs to slide are very responsive.

So Bad It's Good: Run Like Hell (and Grab Your Bawls)

Michael Crisman writes, "A guy travelling through space arrives at his intended destination to discover nearly everyone on board is dead, and his love interest is missing. Occasionally with the help of a partner, but usually all by himself, he proceeds through the levels in third-person perspective, solving puzzles, reading other people’s e-mail, upgrading his arsenal, and destroying aliens who re-animate the bodies of their victims to bolster their numbers. What’s worse, a strange bio-mass is slowly devouring everything in sight. Attacks are constant, ammunition is in short supply, and sometimes the only option is to flee from an indestructible killing machine. Name that game, readers!"

Played on the original Xbox as well. I've loved the Aliens movies and this game reminded me of them. Lance Henrickson does some of the voice overs.

Run Like Hell! Review | The Vita Lounge

Run Like Hell! is an endless runner that manages to trip over itself more than it manages to succeed. The randomness of each level's design leads to endless amount of frustration that manages to deplete the game of the fun it might have had. It's only saving grace is its online mode which pits you against other players in a race that is actually enjoyable.

That's disappointing. I thought that a game with cannibals would be a great time, but I guess no so much.

Run like Hell Review | 3rd-strike

Bart writes:

"A running game with a short story mode, which is always good if you just want to play a short game or two, but also a game which packs a larger experience, with arcade mode where you can run until you drop and player versus player to see who is the fastest."
