Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness and Bananas the game that’s all about that beat is making a move to PS Vita.
A discussion of the game design behind popular rhythm game Jungle Rumble.
The game is charming, fun, and addictive, keeping me up way past my bedtime on more than a few nights. I kept having that all-too-common thought of “just one more level” well into the night, and paid for it in the morning, when I would tap my foot to the remembered rhythm as I waited in line to get my coffee. And, of course, it’s full of adorable monkey puns.
From the review: "A cute concept is not enough to save Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness and Bananas from being a disappointing rhythm-action game. Tapping the screen is fun at first, but too many of the levels play out the same way, and the whole ordeal becomes too repetitive for its own good."
