Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Review [Capsule Computers]

Travis Bruno of Capsule Computers writes:

"Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was released earlier this year and received high praise from various critics including myself. While popular titles generally are given sequels, English speaking audiences were able to benefit from the fact that both the first game and its sequel were already available in Japan at the time, and now seven months later Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair has been released for fans to enjoy. I still need to get the first game...and finish the anime.

rextraordinaire3943d ago

Don't bother with the anime if you plan on playing the first game. It will spoil everything as the story is the same.

;)

I know, me too...but so much backlog, will wait for sale.

nodim3943d ago

well, the first game is on sale RIGHT NOW

@novurdim

Really? PSN listing it at $39.99 in NA. Is it on sale in a different market?

nodim3942d ago

hm, it is still on sale in Europe, but looks like you are a bit late for US. You have missed a sale in the beginning of september, nisa has been selling first danganronpa for $19.99

I've been toying with getting the first game for a while, if all the reviews are this high for number two it looks like I'll have to finally commit some cash to it.

You won't regret it, it's awesome!

Picked the first game back up after receiving my DR2 copy (wanted to finish it before starting the sequel). I forgot how sublime it was.

Gatsu3943d ago

Awesome review! I'm currently playing Danganronpa 1 and I love it :D. Going to 2nd trial soon o_O... Can't wait to buy and play DR2 afterwards!
