Don't bother with the anime if you plan on playing the first game. It will spoil everything as the story is the same.

hm, it is still on sale in Europe, but looks like you are a bit late for US. You have missed a sale in the beginning of september, nisa has been selling first danganronpa for $19.99

Awesome series. I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers, as I've had to play this game at a slow pace. Anybody looking to get into this should definitely play part 1 first. It is almost essential

I loved the first one. Im enjoying the second one but not as much as the first. Still need to beat it so my thoughts might change im like 20 hour in on chapter 3 investigation. I just home there a school mode for this to get all the endings/ hope fragments

Stick with it. I still don't rate D2 anywhere NEAR the first in terms of telling a well-paced story with great solutions (some of the murders here are idiotic and stupid, seriously), but the ending... stick with it.
