EB's Matt Heywood writes, "While at PAX Prime I had the chance to meet with two representatives from Curve to check out Stealth Inc 2 in playable form on the Wii U, and after my time with it I can say that Wii U owners have a game to look forward to this fall that the other platforms will not get. Based on the title it should be clear that this game is centered on stealth gameplay, and the goggles that the clones wear reflect this (red means you’re visible, green means your hidden) in a visual manner, but Curve has added plenty of new features in Stealth Inc 2 to make it stand out from the original. Gamers will now have a fusion of gameplay tactics from other popular franchises like Castlevania, Metroid, and even Zelda to experience, making Stealth Inc 2 a worthy follow up to the original."
Microsoft has announced that several games are leaving Xbox Game Pass for PC and console.
VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "The stealth genre is one that some would argue doesn’t even exist – many titles include stealth elements, but actually fit into one of a number of other genres like action, platformer, or third-person shooter. Ever since the breakout success of the Metal Gear franchise (in particular Metal Gear Solid), though, the genre seems on much more stable footing and it demonstrated that you can have a veritable blockbuster on your hands relying only on stealth mechanics as the main gameplay element.
In recent years we’ve seen other things like Assassin’s Creed, Hitman and Splinter Cell continue to push the genre forward, although it still has somewhat limited appeal. Thankfully, the Vita has a healthy selection of stealth games available (and even more with backwards-compatibility), meaning if you’re looking to do some sneaking on the go then you’ll be well served with the console."
Neil writes "If you missed out on the bargains last week, then don’t worry because there’s a new Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale in place…but which of the numerous discounts in place between the 20th-26th Oct 2015 should you be spending your cash on and which should you be leaving well alone?"
Pretty poor 360 offerings.
I bought the Fallout 3 GOTY and New Vegas Ultimate edition cheaper than what those DLC's are being offered for.
This sequel has great potential. Much more ambitious than the first.
Liked the first title a lot, this looks to be a great improvement
Played it on Vita via PS+ It was great! Look forwarded to the Wii U exclusive sequel.
First title was great, sounds like this one is coming along nicely
