So i was looking at the portfolio of a ex concept artist from next level games and found this.
Nintendo has used March 10 (aka MAR10 Day) to make a number of Mario related announcements, including an update on Super Mario Bros Movie 2.
Jacob S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Our first week in 2021 and we have already seen Nintendo go ahead and pull off one of their biggest move in years as they acquired the Canadian development team at Next Level Games. Best known for their work on the Luigi’s Mansion and Mario Strikers franchises, Next Level Games has continuously expanded their repertoire by offering one great game after another and now, who knows what they may be working on alongside Nintendo. Today, we put a list together as to which of the Nintendo franchises that Next Level Games should take on as their next big project."
Nintendo has acquired Next Level Games, the developer of Luigi's Mansion 3 that launched for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Great news! Very talented Studio. Luigi’s Mansion 3 was amazing.
How about a new Wave Race or even help out Retro with MP4 development. Whatever they do I’m sure it will be great.
nintendo finally decides to add to their studios. They're making bucket loads of money they should at least buy two more studios or create them. at least now I can expect more exclusives that will make it worth owning a switch/nintendo console
Anyways, good job nintendo.
Edit: if their next game is a rpg i'll be even happier
Nintendo adding more firepower for the years to come after the success of the Switch.
Grammar.
I would of rather had a Metroid game for the 3DS then have Luigis Mansion 2 in the future as a full on console game. The one on the 3DS wasn't the same.
Tbh this is a toss up for me, Luigi's mansion needed a sequel and the game was great. Unless this follows the metroid prime series i rather it sit an wait.
Luigi's Mansion 2 exists...
Anyway, I would like a game on the Wii U, specifically for tablet features.
Really curious about next level next game.
