Millions of pre-orders mean fans are ready and waiting, but can the massive promise of 'Destiny' be fulfilled?

The long-rumoured Destiny Mobile game from NetEase may finally be ready for reveal according to multiple leakers.
Phil Spencer talks candidly about missing out on both Destiny and Guitar Hero
So you're saying that Microsoft has missed out on so many huge gaming franchise in the last 25 years from GTA exclusivity to guitar hero and destiny it's just laughable they had so many misses
Best deal deal in gaming must be when Sony bought Insomniac for 229 million dollars. They made over 800 millions on Spiderman for the ps4 alone. Thats just crazy!
another Interview?
how is he the only one who loves the spotlight as much as he does lol
Let's not forget he also famously passed on Spider-man, Genshin Impact and GTA3.
However it's almost kind of cute how he can keep that sh1t-eating grin and say he's a 'no regrets' kind of guy, especially when you think how much just these 5 titles could have swung the world in Xbox's favour instead of Sonys.
How he's kept his job I don't know, he must sure be keeping Papa Nadella's shaft warm somehow.
"But, but Gamepass, he introduced that!!!"
Yes he did, and now look at Xbox, all it's exclusives are coming to Playstation now rendering the platform obsolete.
I'm really wondering how many discs this is going to be on the 360?
I think my local game store got this in already, but had to cancel when I found out this game is online only and no single player campaign!
Thx for nothing Bungie!!!
I think the base game is worth $60 but I personally would hold off on purchasing DLC until later when reviews come in.
I think the base game will offer you more then $60 of entertainment (100+ hours) but how much value will be in the DLC? Will the DLC be like 5-10 hours of extra? Or will it less or more?
Just got Destiny to hold me until bigger titles come in November... and I am not talking about COD.
This game does not have nearly enough content to survive.
That and the missions are so unimaginative and boring.
For something billing itself as an MMO it has no where near the content level to hold up.
This guy addressed pretty much my doubts with the game. I had a limited edition pre ordered but after the alpha and beta I wasn't getting a good vibe from the story after a while. It was fun at first but got old for me real quick and all the beacon missions being the same and constantly having to traverse back through the same areas for the main story kinda killed it for me. As far as the multi its decent but I know once Halo MCC comes out I'm just gonna be on that. still hoping the game does great, but I'm waiting for the reviews that are gonna come out after the games been out a bit.
