Tin Salamunic: Despite being a lifelong Dynasty Warriors fan, Warriors Orochi went completely under my radar when it first released back in 2007. The first two releases were critically panned, so I never bothered with the third installment. When I heard Koei Tecmo was re-releasing an “Ultimate” edition of WO3 I was a bit confused, but considering their superb DW 8: Extreme Legends Complete Edition from a few months ago, I tried putting all skepticism aside. I am glad I stayed optimistic. Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is another superb hack n’ slash entry packed with what seems an endless amount of content and the same smooth action seen in Tecmo’s DW HD upgrade earlier this year. While the gameplay remains largely unchanged and does little to attract newcomers, this is an absolute must for franchise devotees and those looking for chaotic wuxia action.
It’s that time of the month again folks. The time where gamers collectively gather all over the internet to criticize what free games they get this month. So, who plundered the other’s fanboys for all their self-worth and gratification in life? Who was the victor in July? Let’s take a look.
Hmm, Warriors Orochi actually looks like something I'll enjoy. Hell, even WWE could be fun.

I really believe this is the reason there is so much hate every month around the free games. Some fanboys cannot stand to lose any pointless internet console battle, ever.
I'd say about even, overall Xbox has been doing much better and ps plus has continued steady pace, I'd say both games with gold ps plus are about even in there monthly offerings noadays
Neil writes "We're here yet again with the latest free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles ready to be thrust upon us. But in a period that sees few new games released, the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for August could well be the big hitting feature that Xbox One and Xbox 360 players looking for a new game rely on. That combination therefore leaves the door wide open for the scheme to deliver a cracking set of free titles."
Good for me as I've never played any of the games being offered this month.
Edit: that was a lie, I played BG&E on OGXbox.
I'm going to get some mileage out of everything but Spelunky. I've played that in so many variations. I realized when I started Spelunky World online for PS4 that I simply cannot plant another bomb without blacking out. I have not played a wrestling game since the last wwe game on PS2. I'm excited to see how far things have come. Solid month for me.
Neil writes "Pinch, punch, it's the first of the month...and that means Xbox One owners get to save a huge amount as Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate gets stripped of its price tag thanks to the Games With Gold scheme."
