From the article, "The new, [Jerimiah Mueller's] sorry, New 3DS may have a bit of an identity issue. One thing it doesn’t have an issue with is charm. The thing is just flat-out weird. I love weird. The new “C-stick” looks to effectively be one of those antiquated little “pointing stick” nubs that Lenovo still sticks on their Thinkpads. A lot of people don’t like those little nubs on Thinkpads. I love the things."
With 1000+ games released for the dynamo handheld, there are more than a handful of games on the Nintendo 3DS that got overlooked.

I love the dynamic of Nate and Sam in Uncharted 4. Nate has given up the treasure hunting life for Elena, he just loves her that much despite living his whole life off the thrill of his adventures. I really hate those "nipple" thumbsticks they use (or used to use) on laptop keyboards. Way too sensitive.
And I guess I'm just not sold on the concept in general.
Arguably, the Vita has it best with two actual analog sticks--but I think that, at the handheld scale, analog sticks just don'w work. At all. The smaller you make the "sick," the less precise the movement--so you get to the point were these handheld sticks are to console analog sticks what console analog sticks are to PC mice.
That said, maybe this will finally give the MonHan team enough buttons and sticks to make a camera/lock on function that doesn't suck ass.
It's the same size as the four main face buttons, so the size isn't an issue for me..my concern is how stiff or loose it will feel, as well as its sensitivity.
I do have to say, though, that it's in a very natural position for my thumb to easily reach, so that's a plus.
the positioning seems werid to me
