Judging by the wrist thingies, I expect that the world has somehow adapted. Maybe the government issued these things so people can recognize who's infected/about to?

Anyway, bring back Barry.

DarkOcelet3523d ago

Terra save means Claire might be coming back and Rachel ,hmmm that is really interesting so i guess we will know who Raymond is working for and somehow i feel this will take place on another ship with Claire and another protagonist which they said is unknown but wasnt playable before . I hope Barry makes a comeback too .

Roccetarius3523d ago (Edited 3523d ago )

Even if Claire does return, i'm not that hopeful for another Revelations. It was mostly just a run and gun game, in all honesty.

Not to mention all those loading screens, which they disguised poorly.

Blacklash933522d ago (Edited 3522d ago )

@Roccetarius

It was hardly a run-and-gun game. Several sections of the game were action-oreiented, but most of Jill's segments of the game (which were easily the best portion) were slower, atmospheric, and more exploration-based. Thankfully, Jill's chapters were the majority of the game.

Also, loading issues were due to the limitations of the 3DS hardware. Obviously, that's not going to apply to development for full consoles. They were annoying, but hardly unbearable in Revelations 1, anyway.

And, also very obviously, Revelations 2 isn't going to be the same game as Revelations 1. I don't see why you're basing your expectations like we know to expect that Revelations 2 will not have any improvements. That's what sequels are for.

Tdmd3522d ago (Edited 3522d ago )

Should Claire returns, I will be more excited about this than RE7. She's my favorite RE character. Never played revelations though (thanks to that terrible enemy design), so I might be missing something here. How's Claire related to Terra Save? I thought she was scratched from this series. Last I've heard anything about here was on that animated movie.

DarkOcelet3523d ago (Edited 3523d ago )

@Roccetarius Revelation was a 3ds game and that hardware is not as powerful as the x360,xone,ps3,ps4 so and it was a port but for a 3ds game but it was damn good and i expect this to be amazing graphically just like Resident evil 6 and its developed for consoles this time not handheld so we will most likely see a major improvement in gameplay , loading times , enemies ,etc etc etc .. We shall see how it will look in TGS gameplay .

Drewskey19833523d ago

Capcom you guy are failing as a company bring out a new resident evil game not resident evil revelations 2

scark923523d ago

I am too afraid to see a new Resident Evil game, I am much happier seeing this as this is a step in the right direction for the franchise, Resident Evil 6.. I hate it, I hope the next Resident Evil game is mainly Single player, and if the want a Co-op then make a separate story line, that would be cool!

danny8183522d ago

I believe revelations 2 is a great way to go. The game was really cool and it was actually pretty scary for me. Even on the 3ds. Im happy they are actually going to make another. But at the same time im not suprised, the ending left me the impression a sequel was eminent. Im suprised its taken them this long

Gatsu3522d ago

I think it's better for Capcom to take their time with Resident Evil 7. Or it might end up being a mess like 6 was. Giving us Rev2 and RE1 will be a nice revisit to the older style and then they can focus on making RE7 to have good horror and story.

Drewskey19833523d ago

Dying light looks better than this

TheOneWhoIsTornApart3523d ago

How can a game look better than another game that hasn't had in game footage shown yet?.

Gatsu3522d ago

Might look better...who knows. But it's probably the only good thing about Dying Light, I bet it will be a boring zombie game mostly like Dead Island.

Darkfist3523d ago

Thats not Rachel wheres the big bewbs

shaw983523d ago (Edited 3523d ago )

Man, what a punch to the balls to us Nintendo fans that grew the first revelations.

The 3ds version is the most successful version and because of that success it was ported to consoles. What a douche move for us Nintendo owners.

shaw983522d ago

Then you should probably look up the sales.

KwietStorm_BLM3522d ago

I don't care about the sales. I'm talking about you calling it a douche move, like they owe you a debt.

shaw983522d ago

They dont, it is just sad they forgot about the fanbase that loved and cared for the first game. Dont you think Nintendo owners deserve the game just as much as anyone else? This game became successful because of those Nintendo owners. But now, they will be unable to play a sequel to a game they fell in love with. Image growing and raising a child and then that child being taken away from you.

I am out of respond bubbles so I wont be able to reply back.

@shaw98 ^

"They dont, it is just sad they forgot about the fanbase that loved and cared for the first game"

Oh yeah? Did you complain for Playstation fans when REmake and RE0 were announced as Gamecube exclusives? Or when RE PSP was moved to the 3DS as Revelations?

Yeah, didn't think so.

KwietStorm_BLM3522d ago

Albeit a comparison to a child being taken away being quite extreme, point taken. But it's no different than what the PlayStation fanbase is going through with Tomb Raider, a franchise that literally was born on the PlayStation. Hell I originally couldn't play Revelations because it was only on the 3DS, and again, this is a franchise that was started on PlayStation. They likely can't make the game they want to make if it were on the 3Ds or Wii U, but for whatever Capcom's reasoning may be, it is what it is. It's not the first time this has happened, and it won't be the last.

It's Time For Resident Evil's Most Unique Mode to Make a Comeback

With series staple Mercenaries Mode returning to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, it’s time to remind fans of another mostly forgotten mode from the RE series. Reaching the second chapter in the 2012 3DS game Resident Evil: Revelations unlocked something called Raid Mode for players to enjoy. Unlike Mercenaries, Raid Mode is not a time-attack mode and instead operates as a more RPG-lite version of the main game. While players are expected to try and hammer down on a handful of levels in Mercenaries, Raid Mode gives players a much more expansive game type to play around with.

This mode was included in ports released on the seventh and eighth generations of consoles and was part of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, which was released in 2015. However, the Revelations duology is the only time that Raid Mode has existed in the massive Resident Evil franchise, and that should change in some future release.

I'd like to raid mode make a return in the future. When Capcom was hacked there was a as of yet announced RE game in there that I was hoping might turn into Revelations 3. There were also reports that whatever that RE game was scrapped and cancelled.
