It's a really good game, but it never seems to appear on someone favorite list.

Yeah, I actually love that game. I always thought Origins suffered from a certain lack of variety, and then Legends came out and every level feels completely different, even from within the same worlds. Damn great game.

I'd personally go for the ps4/wiiU combo... I NEED SSB!!! (mario kart sweetens the deal too!) i usually dont buy a console when 90% of its library is identical to the console i already own...

I have a backlog of PS2 & PS3 games I need to play.
I own a PS4 & have no reason to own a XBone.
Has nothing to do with being a die hard gamer. I simply don't want a XBone. I'm not buying something I don't want.

Pretty funny when this same article came out for X bone all the comments were from Sony fanboys about how the list was BS and their were no good games for Xbone. Neither system has 12 good games. When you take away the games that are out for both systems is TLOU, SS, and FF vs DR3, F5 and TF.

i believe for systems less than a year old they BOTH have great libraries... what do people want in year 1? 17 AAA games? i just have a feeling if both of them had 2X the exclusives in year 1, you'd still have lots of people complaining...

one thing to remember, the ps3 had a years worth of ports to catch up on, being a year behind of the 360, and really the list is of personal taste... once you take out the sports titles (2 editions for some), cause i don't really play sports (personal taste, remember?) AND the movie games (ugh), youre left with some really good games, but i wouldn't say its list is FAR better, or even better for that matter...

Can't believe Child of Light isn't on that list. To me that is the Game of the Year so far. And better than every game on that list except for Last of Us.

God, I loved AC4. I still don't get why journalists complain about the controls. Most journalists can't play games, but even then, why? Maybe I've played so much of the AC games, that I'm very aware of how the controls work, and don't continuously jump off buildings and die. Watching videos of journalists playing games at expos is shocking. I agree with the crouch button complaint though. Thankfully, that's coming to Unity.

I think Lego Marvel Super Heroes is better than The Lego Movie Videogame as well.
