Shovel Knight Review: Better than Buried Treasure | Canada

In contrast to many other games that lean heavily on nostalgia, how much you enjoy Shovel Knight will have little to do with how nostalgic you are for the amalgamation of experiences it evokes. Shovel Knight feels like buried treasure, but in truth it should really be labeled as revisionist history.

From what I can discern all three platforms are nearly identical and it will largely come down to your controller of choice and how you play.

If you enjoy playing at your PC - get it there.
If you enjoy playing on your TV (and on your couch via the pad) - get it on Wii U.
If you game on the go - get it on 3DS.

Personally I enjoyed the 3DS version as it was portable and I'm in the minority who enjoy good 3D - which the game does have.
