A Pixelated View is a huge fan of Super Smash Bros. As new information is trickled out of Masahiro Sakurai’s bag of screenshots, there has been a mixture of anticipation and excitement with a touch of controversy. During the seemingly endless wait for the fourth installment, Zero Suit Samus has been hit with far more controversy than any other character, especially on Tumblr. These accusations of sexual objectification and sexism are, for the most part, blown out of proportion.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor & Fallen Order are now playable on Amazon Luna thanks to a new multi-year deal with EA. Cloud gaming just leveled up.
Sadly just if you subscribe to Luna it appears. I hooked my EA account into it, which has Jedi Survivor, and it doesn't show in my Library. They don't show as a source either, so just a heads up to not let your purchasing decision be swayed as to where you pick the titles up if a bonus streaming option held any interest.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson talked about the company's business and plans and shared a few interesting remarks about the Switch 2.
The only game I bought from EA this generation has been Jedi Survivor and it was a broken mess (might still be)
EA announced its financial results for Q3 of its fiscal year 2025, related to the period between October and December 2024.
And wait for the taxes effect... NFL 99$ for the base game in US (49$ in Canada) Wait and see.
yes she is, how does someone who spends half her time fighting space pirates and wears heavy space armor not look like average Jane? how is it even possible that she has a fit body?
How come this argument didn't appear when she was wearing just a bikini at the end of the first Metroid? You know, when everyone was completely off-guard to the fact that Samus, the badass bounty hunter who killed Ridley/Kraid/all the other enemies, was actually a woman the whole time? Strong female protagonist, right there.
Why we're bringing this up now completely baffles me.
you people that say this sexism crap need to really mature. If a woman is portrayed showing off her features its sexist. If she looks normal and plain then "guys don't respect a woman's features" Really, mature a little and stop with the social justice nonsense agendas. It's old. And makes not sense
I don't know about "sexist" but every women likes to feel and look SEXY! This game is just reflecting that!
Don't believe me? Try telling your girlfriend/wife they look like they gained a few healthy pounds, when they try on a nice fitting dress!
I doubt you'll still be together after that!
The Zero Suit itself, in the context of the Metroid games make sense, its a logical undergarment to be warn underneath heavy futuristic battle armor, and considering its the easiest way to have Samus remain recognizable while outside of her suit I can totally understand why it was used in SSB. I don't really see why anyone feels the need to get upset about this.
