The presentation for No Man’s Sky has to be the most Ying/Yang experience Trustedreviews have sat through in about eight years of writing about games. It began with a fifteen minute preamble from Hello Games’s studio head, Sean Murray, explaining to a room filled with hacks that he didn’t want to be there, that he didn’t like talking to people like us and that everything that we were about to “see was going to be shi*t”.
No Man's Sky on Nintendo Switch 2 offers a major leap in graphics and performance over the original release.
"No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings this excellent, constantly evolving space survival adventure to your new Nintendo console in fine style. This is an almost-perfect match for other versions of the game, barring some very minor hiccups here and there.
Combat is still a bit naff, especially in space, and hardcore pirates might not get all they need from the systems in place here, but other than that, this is an almost perfect port of an almighty behemoth of a game. The sky, it seems, really has no limits." - PJ O'Reilly | NintendoLife
Hello Games has secretly worked on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of No Man's Sky. But there's also a new juicy update that lets you be a mayor.
That's a nice little surprise.
Honestly I gotta hand it to Hello Games. They really turned this game into something else with their dedication to it. A rocky start, but the game is unrecognizable to what we had at launch.
MAN, Hello Games just keeps on trucking with this game, and are REALLY showing other developers how to earn some good will with their fans.
Stoked for Light No Fire.
When this game launches, I am going to take some vacation time from work, get a small fridge, and park my behind on the couch. I don't think I will see sunshine for a few days.
Awesome article, BTW. Really well done. I am so looking forward to this.
If there are millions of planets, how will they name them all? I get that the planets are generated procedurally, but are the names too? I mean, someone has to input the letters to form the name right?
still skeptical about this game. it all sounds to good to be true.
I'm really looking forward to this and WiLD next year.
This game is not only the game they always wanted to make but the game we mature gamers have been waiting a long time to experience, this more than any other game needs to deliver, ALOT is riding on this game and i truly admire his vision and passion, i cannot wait!
