Sony and Microsoft, with all their new "next-Gen" titles:

Heroes of the Storm

The Evil Within

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Evolve

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

The Order: 1886

Far Cry 4

Ori and the Blind Forest

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX

Assassin’s Creed Rogue

Sunset Overdrive

Dying Light

Sadly I won't be able to try sunset overdrive I do not have a xbox one but evolve sounds great for my ps4, looks fun. Dying light comes out this year?

deafdani3570d ago

What's your point?

Because from where I stand, all I see is an insufferable fanboy that implies something is wrong with all these Sony and Microsoft games just because they aren't as wanted as Smash Bros.

Please, please, PLEASE tell me I'm dead wrong. You don't have more bubbles, but if you prove me wrong in a PM, I'll happily post it here in your behalf.

MegaRay3570d ago

KH 2.5 is not a next gen game but yeah, its my most wanted game this year :)

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3570d ago

"Sony and Microsoft, with all their new "

Their you say?
I only see
The Order: 1886
Sunset Overdrive

All thers ain't theirs. KH2.5 isn't new.

LOL The main reason I got a Wii U was for Super Smash bros. that game will last me for years.

LoaMcLoa3570d ago

I'm getting a 3DS just for this game

I've pretty much played Brawl atleast 1-3 times a week with my siblings since it came out

That was 6 years ago

SteamPowered3570d ago

If this is your first foray into the 3ds, might I recommend; Fire Emblem, Mario 3d, resident evil revelations, gta:Chinatown wars...hell I could go on and on.

Ilovetheps53570d ago

I'm still playing Melee 13 years later. I'm actually going over to a friend's house a little later to play some Melee.

truechainz3569d ago

yeah Smash always has staying power. Makes it a no brainer buying it and whatever console it is on since I know I will be playing it for years to come.

SteamPowered3570d ago

If SSB generates so much anticipation, I can't wait for the Zelda U reveal.

deafdani3570d ago

Zelda U was already revealed at E3 this year, look it up in Youtube.

:)

wonderfulmonkeyman3570d ago

I would call that a "world teaser" and "short feature trailer" combination, at best.
The real reveal will probably hold much more than that.
Music being used in the game, introductions of other characters, some storyline elements, maybe even some gameplay from wherever you start the adventure after the main trailer.

I'm surprised actually. I don't see why people like this game and the ones in the past. I tried them when I was younger but it just wasn't for me. That's not why I'm surprised though, I fully understand that my taste in games isn't fact, just my opinion. I'm surprised because I thought it would be a multi platform game. So when you consider that smash bros is solely NIN, you really have to tip your hat for such a feat. The wii u was hurting for a while there but nin is coming with some pretty solid titles. I'm waiting for the new Zelda to pick a wii u up.

Ilovetheps53570d ago

Super Smash Bros has always been a 1st party title by Nintendo. That's the reason you have Mario, Link, DK, and others in the game. You will never see a Super Smash game on any other consoles because Nintendo owns the IP and (most of) the characters in the game. I know a few people who are waiting for this game before picking up a Wii U. I'm really hoping it helps the Wii U out.

pootymcpoockle3570d ago

I think he meant that he was expecting the most wanted game to be a multi-plat title, not that he thought smash bros was multi-plat.

wonderfulmonkeyman3570d ago (Edited 3570d ago )

I'm not surprised in the least.
Smash is a juggernaut in the gaming industry; third parties everywhere scramble for the acclaim associated with seeing their characters fighting against Nintendo's greats.

I feel bad for Smash fans. Those guys have been trying to maintain the scene active for 20+ years and get nothing but hate from Nintendo.

RoseSapphire370d ago

Sakurai explains how he and Nintendo still don't understand how the internet works.

FTFY

Snookies12370d ago

Exactly, online play would be wonderful on Smash if Nintendo gave a crap about their online services. To be fair though, Nintendo's online offerings would be great if it were 15-20 years ago lol.
