This comes from the same guy that leaked the Devil's Third and Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire info.

Majora's Mask or Super Mario Sunshine would be awesome!

Metallox3965d ago (Edited 3965d ago )

If it's developed by Nintendo then No, just no. I mean, think about it, they had to remaster Wind Waker to satisfy Zelda fans in their waiting for Zelda U, a game that will be out three years after Wii U's launch. They had to delay Pikmin 3 three times after its official announcement. Nintendo cannot keep up their developments nowadays, and if they put their developers to do more rehashed stuff, then we got a problem here. I want new stuff by Nintendo as well.

I want a skyward sword remaster with game-pad controls

ChickeyCantor3965d ago (Edited 3965d ago )

"They had to delay Pikmin 3 three times after its official announcement."

There is more to that. It was initially meant for the Wii, then they moved it to the Wii-U. So they had to update their stuff. And considering Nintendo is still in the darkages about HD development they were having a setback.

It's almost 2 years now, if they don't have a better workflow by now then they are just idiots. But pretending their past issues apply now is nonsense.

"I want a skyward sword remaster with game-pad controls"

So you want to break 90% of the mechanics.

NukaCola3965d ago

I'd love Luigis Mansion or Metroid Prime.

lilbroRx3965d ago

Majora's Mask is out of the question. That would require an entire remake.

You can't just put HD textures on an N64 and expect it to look modern.

Why do people keep insisting on this? Don't they know how this stuff works. And HD remaster is just the same game with higher res textures.

ChickeyCantor3965d ago

The blueprints are already there. It wouldn't be that complex to update the whole game. Time mostly goes to creating assets. Most of the game logic can be ported over to whatever they are using now.

It's not out of the question and they can definitely do it at a lower cost. They don't even have to make it super fancy. Textures and remodels alone would give it a boost.

wish their was a rumor Super C and R-type ,Gradius,Einhander, Super Metroid,Earth worm jim was being made .
matter of fact ALL SNES games .

TekoIie3965d ago (Edited 3965d ago )

Pretty sure Super Metroid is on the Wii U eshop.

No point in a remaster when the "original" is available on the same console. It's be better to make an all new 2D Metroid game to be honest.

While a remastered Zelda or Mario would be the obvious choice, maybe they will surprise us. A remastered Eternal Darkness or even a remaster of Custom Robo with an online multiplayer could be great too.

Mr Pumblechook3965d ago

How about a remastered double pack featuring Zelda Ocarina of Time and Mjora's mask. That would be so sweet.

wonderfulmonkeyman3965d ago

I think I've had just about enough OOT, for a while.
I'd rather see a sequel to Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess.

Mr Pumblechook3965d ago

@wonderfulmonkeyman.
I'd like to see a sequel to those games too. But the article is about a remaster!

trenso13965d ago

Custom robo on the gamecube was so much fun.

weekev153965d ago

I am going for an HD version of Luigis Mansion Dark Moon. Im sure I remember something ages ago about the possibility of it getting ported.

InTheZoneAC3965d ago

Why not a Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Super C, Pokemon, or any other older classic?

I'm not saying keep them looking the same but in HD. I'm saying completely redo the graphics as if it were a modern game.

LAWSON723965d ago (Edited 3965d ago )

Do any of those games need remade or remastered? They all look great to this day, specifically Super Metroid and Link to the Past (IMO no one should ever try to change these games) as for Pokemon they have done countless remakes and the games have aged pretty well except maybe the first gen games which looked great on GBA.

InTheZoneAC3965d ago

they still look great, but I'm talking about playing them in full 3d. Since everyone's obsessed with all the new zeldas for the wii, remaster a link to the past to look like that.

same with metroid and contra, give us either a third or person person option to play.

offer a full 3d pokemon game, but you can base it off any of the older gameboy or gameboy color pokemons.

XBLA Classic 'A World of Keflings' Is Coming to Steam, and There's a Demo

"Back in the innocent days of 2010, A World of Keflings was a fairly popular successor to A Kingdom for Keflings. I even wrote about it a few times in 2012! But the world of humans moved on, and NinjaBee's city-building/adventure game was last seen on the ill-fated Wii U in 2014. Fast-forward to the dark year of 2025, and not only is A World of Keflings coming to Steam, but there's already a playable demo! Perhaps the cheerful, no pressure gameplay that the Keflings bring is just what we need nowadays," says Co-Optimus.
