The announcement of Rise Of Tomb Raider exclusive to Xbox One has driven PlayStation and PC fans crazy, with many even threatening to go as far as raping the voice actress of Lara Croft and attacking the games writers. Sounds very similar, that your growing up and you have to put your survival skills to the test and accept that your becoming Tomb Raider

It was a great business deal for Microsoft, but a very stupid one for Square Enix.

For me is much better than it'll release sometime 2016 for PS4 (if it indeed does), because there are a lot of games for 2015, and I am going to need time to play all the games I buy.

Also, I would say that I'd be playing Uncharted 4 when the game releases (assuming it does in November like Uncharted 3), but I am sure I'll finish the game in 3 days like I did Uncharted 2 and 3.

I can get why Square and Microsoft made the deal for it to be timed. But they should have been clearer about it being timed. What made most people mad was that Microsoft and Square were acting as if it was fully exclusive to the XBOX One. The blog post on tumblr and the way it was worded also didn't help. I for one wasn't going to buy an XBOX One just to play this game even though I loved the reboot. So with the fact it is timed and will most likely see a PS4 release I can just wait for it. Still companies need to learn from this and be clearer with their messages.

He denied it, but Phil Spencer said that the deal was exclusive in 2015, after that, Square Enix could do whatever they want, since it's their IP

Why are these developers getting so greedy, what eventually happens is it drives gamers to download pirated games just to not miss out on exclusive titles.

Pirated games aren't much use if you don't have a platform to play them on..

Its not greed.. Its smart business and common when talking investments..

You can "potentially" make 20%+ with this, or you could lose it all and go bankrupt..

Or make a solid 10% with no risk..

Many people take the safest bet.. Especially when talk that they might not have broken even on the last game floats around..

I think it was more of a "Screw you, Square Enix!", but I get what you're saying.

I personally think Sony won with Wild, P.T. (Silent Hill), The Tomorrow Children, Hellblade, and Bloodborne gameplay. That's just me though. I'm all about the creativity. Wild and The Tomorrow Children look so cool!

Hellblade for me is one of the most intriguing games. I just loved the atmosphere in that trailer and I've personally loved all of Ninja Theory's games. I have a feeling that game will be something special.

But those other games also look amazing. Bloodborne and Wild in particular.

I bought Tomb Raider day one on Ps3. I also bought the definitive edition when I got my Ps4 and was looking forward to both Uc4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider( well more so UC4) but after what Se & Cd did not only will I save $60 and put it towards something else but I'll not buy the game new its either used on rent.

Watch how Crystal Dynamics try to pull that PvZ BS!!! when they where launching on xbox one the word Playstation was missing in their vocabulary then when their contract is over with MS they try to fool us by telling us how the game is 1080/60fps on ps4 ......pshhhhhhh Rental it is!!!!!!

We knew when they announced it that it would come to PS4 and PC later. I have no idea why they were trying to keep it a secret. Every time someone from Microsoft or Square would talk about its exclusivity, they would mention fall 2015. At the reveal, they said it was coming exclusively to the Xbox One in 2015. That means it's a timed exclusive. Always has. Always will. Otherwise, they would make a huge deal out of it being a full-on exclusive with no mention of the year.

Unless they say, "This game is releasing on the Xbox One and only the Xbox One.", it's a timed exclusive.

And then just carried on i liked the reboot of tomb raider but i feel it scored pretty high for what it actually was i thought it was round 7/10. Now that I think about it MGS 2-4 were PS exclusives the last backward compatible PS3 was bundled with MGS IV. It would make perfect sense to exclusively bring MGS V to PS4

This move just proves Microsoft's lack of new IP in my opinion. They did the same thing they did last year: put everything on the table at E3. Save for maybe a few indies, Screamride was literally the only unannounced new IP that they showed. Sony showed several new exclusive games within the first ten minutes of their conference.
