Buying into new consoles is always a odd experience. There’s a number of elements that come into play, mostly attempts to justify spending vast amounts of money on a system with barely any games. The chief feeling, and most welcomed, is excitement. There’s always a buzz when it comes to walking into the store and picking up the ‘next big thing’. I waited for months, pre-order slip in hand, counting down the days until the PS4 was released.
The First Descendant is now available on Xbox Stream Your Own Game catalog.
Final Fantasy Tactics Remastered‘s announcement was a welcome surprise to many, older fans along with the younger generation would be able to experience the epic PS1 game again with some new things that would improve the experience such as voice acting.
This is really stupid and just baffling, the explanation for it is also a big non answer, very disappointing.
Square Enix has really gone down the drain. Even FF7: Rebirth, while being an incredible acheivment seemed very sloppy in some areas... namely performance. These folks wonder why their games don't sell but aren't putting in a decent effort.
They seem to be suggesting that people didn't like the new stuff in WotL, hence it's non-inclusion, but they're probably secretly planning to add it as DLC down the line, they just don't want to tell people that because they think it'll get an even worse reaction. When they do eventually add it, they'll be like, "We listened". Of course, it won't be free though, so they'll still get flak for it. On the other hand, maybe I'm too cynical.
With the release of the v36.10 mode on June 18, Fortnite removed an iconic mode.
I have gotten every playstation available at launch and have never had a problem, its the ones expecting 400 games on launch that seem to be bothered by that kind of thing but I guess they are pretty new to gaming or about 11
The problem with new systems this generation is there is not enough "new" games...
The console manufacturers seem to be more interested in remastering, hd'ing, and re-making games then shipping "new" games...
I didn't spend $400-500 on each next gen console to play a bunch of games I have already completed.
Yeah there's problems, but things will get better eventually.
For me there are just too many games that I still haven't played this generation. I own PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U so I don't really feel the need to go out an purchase a brand new console until Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 come out. Then I'll be buying both systems so I can get my gaming on.
Another reason that this generation is not exciting to me is that my PC already has Next Gen Graphics so it really all comes down to the games which include the Nintendo exclusives which I always end up playing.
I love my PS4 people expecting hundreds of games only months into this era are just impatient. Has Sony ever let us down when it comes to exclusives ? Nope. I believe PS4 is going end up being my favorite console of all time replacing PS2
