Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker's Discreet Delay

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker has been delayed to January 2015, as shown in a new Wii U trailer.

Dec/Jan doesn't matter to me. I'll have so many games by then to play that I wouldn't mind the month delay.

This game looks like a lot of fun.

Didn't Nintendo already announce that Captain Toad was coming out in January of next year for Europe??? I don't know where the delay is?

People complain about the gaps between games on Wii U. IMO Nintendo would be smart to spread their games out

I don't find it to be a problem with exclusives, it seems the same on every other console really time wise. The huge difference sadly between other consoles and the Wii U is that those other consoles get constant third party support to fill in those gaps.

It is insane how many third party games are completely skipping the Wii U, has to be the least third party support any console has seen in history. Every new game announced from a third party recently is not coming to the Wii U. Those that were supposed to have all been delayed and seem like they never will release anyway.

People who only own a Wii U are still waiting around for Watch Dogs, which in all honesty I think they are just going to end up canceling. Not much reason Watch Dogs should be taking this long to get on the Wii U.

What is even more upsetting is a lot of these third party games are going to be on the Xbox 360 but many people don't realize the Wii U and the Xbox 360 use the same architecture, so why is it all these third party developers try and act like the Wii U is harder to develop for when they have been working on the Xbox 360 for several years now and never complained then.

Unfortunate situation for sure and Nintendo really needs to do something about it because it is getting extremely ridiculous the amount of third party games that are all ignoring the Wii U, when it is more capable than a PS3 and Xbox 360 but it's being treated as something lesser.

I was waiting for dq11 sale. Might be time to buy.

Took them forever to put it on sale on the US store! It was on sale for the EU store back on the New Years sale, and at least 1 other time. I had waited so long, I just knew the minute I dropped $60 on it, it would end up going on sale. Took longer than I thought though. I nabbed DQXI S and also DQ Builders 2 last night. Both great games!

I had 7 1/2 hours in the DQXI S demo, so I already knew I loved it. Glad my progress carried over.

Only in Japan at the moment.

I will have to try this. Switch 2(whenever that comes out) should be able to display at least very good VR. I would love it to have a 4K display, but its Nintendo.
