How was Sony’s Gamescom 2014 Press Conference?

Sony had a lot to prove going into Gamescom 2014. First off, it had to reply to Microsoft’s Media Briefing that happened earlier today, but also redeem itself from its average showing at E3 last June. And they did not disappoint.

It looked like they announced a lot of PS4 games, but seeing as I'm more of a handheld guy it felt really weak. After the massive outcry by Vita fans during E3 it doesn't make sense that they would literally only mention the Vita once during the whole conference.

I feel sony could have shown anything and ppl would have felt it was the best show on earth...personally I didn't see anything that I would buy for my ps4...

Wild looked great but I won't pay $60 for it...I really think this game could be good

But the rest isn't my cup of tea....I guess it's taste and to each his own because all my friends on ps4 enjoyed the conference

Im definitely getting hell blade, until dawn, dayz, and wild. I liked that they had a lot of different games to show off. Its also good to see sony and paradox working together because id love to see a lot more paradox games on the ps4

And that's exactly what my friends were saying....I was looking until dawn because of the co op aspect I thought that was good but I'm not sure I would pay $60 bucks for it...as well as wild....hell blade looked really good but I never played heavenly sword I'll keep my eye on that game

It was great. I'm hyped for a lot games. Ms conference was great too. If it turns out though that Tomb Raider IS in fact only a timed exclusive I will be really upset with MS. Not because I don't want the game on playstation, but because it would be one of (if not the) largest deception they've ever concocted and gamers are tired of this de facto exclusive nonsense.

Absolutely terrible. No mention of the vita, and a bunch of low budget indies shown for the ps4. This was just too unreal.
