Earlier today, Sony revealed something called "P.T." at its Gamescom 2014 media briefing. It was accompanied by a demo, which ultimately reveals the game to be a new Silent Hill.
@paprika: I still put on the SH2 OST when I'm going to sleep sometimes. Even my wife likes that one. She's a bit harsher on the SH1 OST, but I can't say I blame her!
silent hill games are too creepy for me sometimes, I feel like I am always on the edge of my seat and need to take breaks. I wonder if it is ps4 only, I am hoping its not ps3/360 at least tho so they can go full on with the graphics and stuff
I downloaded this when it was announced today before everyone knew what it was and holy shit what a reveal. I haven't been this hyped for a game in a very long time.

The demo had me terrified. I had the blinds pulled down and the 7.1 headset on, when the woman grabbed me I screamed like a little girl and threw the headset off my head lol. Walking through the same hallway over and over got boring after awhile and I turned it off afte the baby swinging inside the fridge because it was the same thing over and over again for 20 repeats. Anything happen after that?
Doubt it...he's the main character keeping that show together.
If they ever kill him over Carl then I would be so ticked off. They've ruined every good character or killed them yet refuse to kill Carl off who no one likes. It's not like they are following the comics 100%

So i guess this is that huge 3rd party exclusive IP that was in the news a few days ago. If true this is absolutely huge & may possibly be a rebirth for the Silent Hill franchise.

Hang on before we jump to conclusions Sony only said the teaser was exclusive. It is still likely a multiplatform game. Just a very good way of revealing it
If the new Silent Hill is an exclusive to PS4 then I expect to see a lot of articles (and N4G) saying how Konami is screwing over their fans and the industry!

From what I have read the problem is MS buying an exclusive from a 3rd party and how previous entries were on the platform. So the comparison is pretty fair from what I can tell, the big thing I hear is it is a betrayal to fans (360 SH games have sold almost just aswell with homecoming selling better) and how it is a bad business practice.
One could use the argument well maybe being exclusive it will take advantage of what the PS4 offers, but the same could be said for TB because both have hardly any details. Unless you have double standards for Sony or are biased toward MS or both I really dont see a difference (if the game is actually exclusive)
They can't because the franchise started and found most of its success on PS consoles, if they come up and say anything of that sort, then they're really misinformed, not the same situation as that of Tomb Raider`s XBox exclusivity.
