Project Morpheus Playable for Public at Gamescom

VRFocus - Gamescom 2014 gets underway tomorrow on 13th August, running through to 17th August. While the first day will be reserved for press as per usual, the show will later open up to the public. This year attendees willl have the chance to go hands on with Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for PlayStation 4. This marks the first time the public has had the chance to try Project Morpheus on this scale.

Me too! All the press reactions were very positive, with the occasional minor point needing ironing out.

That was a good while ago now, so you have to expect that the product is either the same or improved since then - and that there are more games/demos to play! :)

Make me a Colony Wars game to go with it, and I'm sold.

The author must've been in a rush to type " [originally revealed for PlayStation 4. However recent rumours have suggested that the title could now appear on PlayStation 4]" not realizing they typed the same thing twice. Journalist standards these days.

On topic, I'll definitely be interested in reading about these newer impressions. My only hope is that they get a solid product out the door the first time. I know Oculus has gone through a couple of revisions already. I'm just worried that it'll launch incomplete. I will keep faith that Sony knows what they're doing. They've been working on motion gaming and head mounts for a while now.

IMO, there's two that are better than all these (except maybe Beat Saber), Thrill of the Fight and AUDICA.

Literally, the vast majority of these games aren't flight simulators. Don't write about what you don't know.
