Analog covers. You could replace the sticks too. People on NeoGaf were replacing them with sticks from an Xbox One controller. Go check out that thread.

Go to Amazon and look up something called "GripIts" they are like 4 bucks, but are amazing!

I hate the grip on the DS4, my hands get sweaty which makes the grip slippery. Then my left stick started "ripping" so I said screw it and bought these. I friggin love them, the grip is worth it alone.

Love the DS4. In comparison to the rest of the DS models, this is /easily/ the best one. Still not as good as the X360/XO gamepads (IMO), but a great controller nevertheless! :D

Now if we can just get a fix for that always-on light bar. ;P

I use my fingernail and clean out the sweaty dirty build up in there when it squeeks, that usually works. This might be worth trying next time to as an experiment though.

The R2 trigger is squeaking on my controller and sticking a little I wonder if this will help.

Yes, it will help.. had the same issue and used this trick a few months ago... no squeaks since and the motion is nice and smooth now. I highly recommend doing the pencil trick on squeaky triggers. I hate the smell of wd40 so using it wasn't a option

Whats up with all these problems with the DS4?? What do people do with them?? I have 2 of them and have been using them since launch and the sticks havent worn out, buttons havent gotten sticky, or triggers gotten squeaky. Maybe because I take care of my stuff?? Only problem is the short battery life but ive gotten used to it.

I think it's hit or miss. Some people have had no issues since launch. Others had controller problems two weeks after buying the console. There is a huge thread concerning DS4 issues on NeoGaf.

I put a Teflon lubricant meant for Yo-yo brains in my triggers and it worked perfectly, no more squeaks.

WD40 is the way forward or any industrial strength lubricant

I had this very same problem and the very tiniest smidgeons of WD40, which is NOT recommended did indeed solve the problem.
