Bloodborne: Hour’s Worth of Combat Gameplay will be shown at Gamescom 2014

Junkie Monkeys: The most recent IGN UK Podcast recently went up regarding talk about why people should be excited for Gamescom. In the video Daniel Krupa spilled the beans on what will be shown for Bloodborne at Gamescom 2014.

Taking queues from Nintendo''s treehouse stream I see, good. We need more of this. I never was excited for a souls game after demon souls. But I'm retry hyped to see this since the combat looks new and different from DS. Loved DS, I just feel after 100h+ I was pretty burnt on the souls series.

Just hope there is some forum of shields in the game. I remember seeing the enemies having them in the gifs,leaked gameplay at E3. I also remember seeing a gif of the main character using his sword as a shield (like you could in Demon's/Dark Souls). I know there going for a bit more fast paced where you need to be on the offensive a lot. But I would still like the option to actually block or use a shield to have some forum of protection if am fighting a boss or more than 1 enemy or ever get invaded.

From what I read, the gameplay will be more attack/parry. If you can have shields, they'll probably be very weak (lost of HP when you get hit).

That I don't mind. I get that the shields where a little OP on Demon's/Dark Souls. But don't do away with them all together make them less effective.
