Right now the sales of the PS Vita are high, however not many games are being released for it and players use it for only Remote Play. However what franchises could save the PS Vita from only being used as a Remote Play machine?
I think more games should be released for Vita as-well as the PS4 but downloadable on Vita.
Unfortunately sony has made It clear they don't want to develop AAA games for it since they don't profit. Sad but true I enjoy it for indie games but it seems like that's as good as it will get
Why do people keep saying this? It is not true, any more than the claim that Sony is gonna cut back on making AAA games for the PS4.
It's my little PS Plus Machine! The only game I bought was Tearaway.Yet I have like 100 games for on it.
Vita has those except the first one as collection
I have the first MGS and Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3,and team racing on my vita from when Sony messed up and you could download any PS1 game you had.But they fix the mistake in a matter of hours. It sucks that the only thing stoping us from being able to play all of the PS1 games is a switch and the greedy publishers that wont let us play the games we already payed them for.
3 disagrees so ratchet & clank, jak & daxter, god of war and MGS doesn't have collection on vita okay.....
BFvita with all the bf4 maps but only TDM infantry combat.
Just to save everyone the trouble from reading the article ,here is the list from the site 5.Syphon Filter 4.Ratchet & Clank 3.Jak & Daxter 2. God of War 1. Metal Gear Solid
Why no grand theft auto?
GTA and FFVII remake.
Hey I heard that BioShock will come to iOS. This could be a perfect port for the.Vita!
I know right? Plus there was a rumor for BioShock for Vita what the hell has happened?
It was cancelled
It never even began development. Ken was talking through his arse.
i don't think sony has abandoned the vita and i say lets wait for gamescom and let some time pass.
If after Gamescom and TGS I don't see any more AAA announcements or even Gravity Rush 2, I will dig its grave.
There have been many, many top AAA titles for the Vita and they have not saved it. So why would these titles be any different? Sony should just embrace the Vita as a companion device for the PS4. The fact it has remote play for their games is amazing and should be advertised more.
Vita is dead, thanks to Sony and their poor management. It's a shame because Vita is a great console, and seeing this only being used as a remote controller is a waste. I'm trying to sell mine, it's taking dust after dust. But it's hard to sell a dead console.
I tried selling my 3DS and the most I was going to get was 80$ so yeahh.
The system has very poor marketing or at least here in NA.
Yep,for poor marketing and what it can do to game systemslook no further than the Vita and Wii U.Its a great way to start off a consoles life with one foot in the grave.
CRASH BANDICOOT. Have some new crash games and a crash racer, the vita will fly off the shelves
In no particular order GTA (come on they did liberty and vice city stories not to mention Chinatown wars) maybe a brand new god of war instead of ports from ps2 or psp, Gran turismo vita, psp got it's own version why not the far superior vita, I'd say a vita specific metal gear like peace walker was on psp but sure they are busy with metal gear 5, not forgetting they could make some sequels to the successful games they've had killzone mercenary, tearaway 2, gravity rush 2 vita is getting dropped by sony as a gaming platform and it's a shame really.
The vita is the biggest waste of console potential since the dreamcast
im i the only one who want a 2D Ratchet & Clank adventure for the vita or maybe a tactical rpg they have enough characters to make one
That ship has sailed for Vita. I still get a truckload of games for it nonetheless, but I am not hopeful. Sony has shown that they don't believe in it. It's a pity that we won't see its true potential.
Don't Believe in the platform? yeah is that why Sony is further investing into the PSVita as a platform? if Sony did not Believe in the playstation Vita, why is Sony creating yet another playstation Vita platform IE: Playstation TV.. I mean if Sony did not care about the playstation Vita as a platform, why make the Playstation TV Have the playstation Vita memory card port blank and game card port? without those two ports it would even be cheaper to produce! Hell why Use the Playstation Vita hardware at all right? This is a case of ever since the PSVita as a platform has been on the market , many Gamer's just want to see that platform Go away...LMAO Well after now almost 3 years its still here still being reordered by stores and still getting games made for the system, what is funny ; gamer's complain I want AAA games for the PSVita , but any game that Sony brings out for the system is almost always called a Watered Down PS3 port.. So why Bother right now to concentrate on bringing on AAA development cost's into the PSVita, again when for perception of any AAA game to always be seen as a watered down port that if a gamer was going to play it they ; would rather play the game on PS4 or a PS3 on a big screen anyway ? Thus that is exactly why Sony created the freaking Playstation TV, if the perception of the PSVita is just a PS3 watered Down port Machine, well than that's what the consumer is getting, because that's what the Consumer see's it as going on now three [email protected] years! and that is what the Consumer has always seen it as ever since the [email protected] system launched. At least Mid 2nd tier, and indies many gamers cannot claim its watered down ports , because they than get to call them shovelware or Indiestation.. there has been a real strong effort to paint the playstation platform as = to just an indie machine I know why, but it is quite Amusing for some gamers to try to make it out to be a bad thing, when majority of Game on the PC are indies, and some with very large Budgets for being "just an indie game"
