Micromon, a shameless Pokemon clone, soared to the top of the App Store in less than a week, proving once again that Nintendo needs to go mobile.
Idk why Sony hasn't made Pokémon clone for Vita yet Maybe they have and I missed it
Someone else I currently doing one XD I forgot who and what it's called I saw the article on here thou so try searching pokemon clone ps vita on here
Micromon?! Sounds like something you would call a Jamaican midget.
LMFAO!!!!!!!! I'm jamaican and I just LOLd HARD!!!!
+Bubbles for Green Ranger XD
They aren't. Pokemon will only get companion apps. Pokedex 3D Pro Pokemon TV
Not being available on the app store as this ither title makes it more rare and thus making Pokemon stay on top
it only makes sense if they want to hurt their hardware sales
But surely if they kept the ios/android versions 10 years behind that isn't hurting their hardware sale or losing too much brand exclusivity as no one will just wait 10 years to get pokemon x and y when they could get it right now. Nintendo don't even make the gameboy/colour/advance/sp any more so they are not losing hardware sales at all if anything they are making easy money off a quick port people have resorted to roms and mobile emulators which nintendo makes no money from so it seems silly that they don't release a game that hasn't made them money in about 8-10 years to a thriving digital market desperate to play these older titles
Nintendo doesn't need to stop trying them to do something that would ruin their company. Clearly you've never ran a business. Also stop targeting nintendo if you expect them too then demand Sony make the last of us or god of war on mobile. Hypothetical nonsense, good thing you aren't a business owner.
How would making money "ruin" Nintendo? I think the point is that someone can make a knock-off Pokemon game and make tons of money in the app store off of it. As stated in the article, Nintendo could re-release a 15-year-old Pokemon game on the App store and make millions because people want that experience. Instead they'll do nothing, make no money, and let upstart companies steal their ideas while desperate fans go to ROM-town. Are YOU a business owner? Because I'd like to open a nearly identical business near yours and undercut all your prices while you do nothing.
everyone knows that pokemon can only be pokemon if it has pokemons in it ^^ OT: if they really would go mobile the should just do the 'Gamephoneboy 3ds' have their own in app app store besides the normal android store and rape every other company to death... sound wrong but it should only happen metaphorical.
One it's a ripoff meaning these 'devs' have absolutely NO CREATIVITY that they have to steal others ideas. And it would make them lose money, why do you think they haven't done it? Plus show me a high quality cell phone game...oh wait there is none.
I think nintendo should make pokemon red/blue version mobile edition because they don't make money of the game any more people use emulators and if they remade the game in colour and added Bluetooth/wifi battles and trading they could make a lot of money they could charge £5 and people would still buy it even with the App Store being used to small prices they could even have a monthly vote to add pokemon from other gen into the game as in app purchases (obviously this isn't too great for customers but I'm talking revenue for nintendo) they could offer free downloads of one of the new gen starters to promote their latest games. They could even make a whole new game purpose built for mobile that receives expansions so that they can add new places with old pokemon obviously they will save the newer ones to be exclusive to the 3ds/wii u games but there are so many possibilities for revenue even if it was a straight port of red/blue or one of the games that don't make them money and doing this makes it so they are not losing brand exclusivity so much like if the mobile releases are 10 years behind the 3ds then people aren't just gonna say "I don't want a 3dd I'll just wait til it comes to ipad" just my rumblings anyway
