At this year's ChinaJoy, we met Brian Oh who is the Director of Overseas Business in Pearl Abyss and we had an interview with him. This interview will cover a lot of latest information regarding Black Desert's new contents in the third closed beta (CBT), new characters, PvP & PvE balance, the NA & EU publisher Daum etc. Pearl Abyss also showed the clothes dyeing system that will be available in the third CBT to us at ChinaJoy. Today Pearl Abyss hosted its traditional Calpheon Ball news livestream, and the developer of Black Desert certainly had a lot to share.
I'm shocked it's coming to the Xbox consoles, just seems a waste or money and time for little in return.
Well, you shouldn't. Black Desert is already available on the Xbox One, and thanks to Microsoft's streamlined game SKU management, it's highly probable that the developers simply have to press a button to make it a native port. The one that will need more time and money is the Playstation version, that will likely need a completely new SKU for the native version to work.

Only the reality, unfortunately. Sony did an excellent job on the PS5 software, but they didn't put the same effort into the PSN. The way the system handles licenses is terrible.
