PixlBit | "Even if you can never remember what it’s called, you’ve messed with tangram before. Probably in elementary school when it improved your understanding of geometry so extensively that your mind zipped out of your body to an ethereal realm of triangles and squares where you were truly at peace. Or, you used it once, decided it was boring, and stared at the carpet instead. Well, now tangram is back! And attacking!? That’s right, the set of shapes that can be formed to sort-of look like anything you can imagine is the center of the fast-paced, mind-challenging Tangram Attack! that found a way to make those simple shapes into a pretty good game – for a while."
Snippet from the review:
Remember how in elementary school you used to get those colorful blocks that were all squares and rhombuses and different sized triangles, and you could use them to make images of cats and houses and people? In Tangram Attack, you get to take all of those little block pictures and DESTROY THEM.
Meaning you get to slice them apart with your sword/3DS stylus. No tangram blocks were harmed in the making of this game.
Slashy fun, but not a perfect slice; those seeking long-term appeal of games like Tetris or even Candy Crush Saga should likely look elsewhere.

Pure Nintendo: "Tangram Attack offers some short-term fun at a wallet friendly price. It’s repetitive however, with some control issues, and design that relies too much on chance over actual skill. I’d rather play a real Tangram game myself, but those looking for something different could certainly do worse than Tangram Attack. If the arcade meets puzzle gameplay sounds appealing to you, give it a download. The $2.99 price is reasonable for what’s offered here, issues and all."
