PS4Daily: "PlayStation Now will never take off unless Sony does some serious changes about the outrageous prices."
Yes and fast especially now that gamers are showing them how much they disagree with their prices. Is too expensive. That 4 hour option must go, unless they change it to gameplay time. Not real time.
Well, for a few weeks 4 hour rental price will be cut to 1.99$ http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
The E-Mail clearly says "some," which simply means a small percent of games will be cut to $1.99, not that 4-hour rentals will universally be $1.99.
4 hours should just go away... make 24 the minimum IMO. I've been in the PS Now Alpha and Beta since the beginning and see the potential, but damn... the price and time windows must have been made up by some marketing people without any potential users in the bunch.
I think the whole thing should be structured around the amount of hours, with only one price for the full game: Single game pricing: $1 = 2 hours $3 = 5 hours $7 = 10 hours $10 = 15 hours $15 = Unlimited time with the game. Subscription: $25 = 1 month for all you want to play. $40 = 3 months $70 = 6 months $100 = 1 year. PS+ subscription benefits: 5% off 1 months subscription 10% off 3 months subscription 15% off 6 months subscription 25% off 1 years subscription DO IT SONY!
I would like it i you could buy the games instead of renting them
Ok I agree whole heartedly, but seriously this has to be the 20th article in the last 3 days.
Agree, and I think they will after all the feedback they have been given by now.. But serious, like Nicksetzer1 said. This is article 20 about this subject already. Find some NEW news already -_-
Kill it with fire Sony
How many repeat articles are we going to see about this? Give feedback to sony through the beta, instead of making these click bait websites money OT: I still think Sony should make it $2-3 for a day per game similar to redbox
Everyone wants lower prices on rentals. And to hear more about the subscription model. Sony and the publishers/game creators on PSNOW need to respond to consumer outcry!
Yeah i agree, but the amount of articles on this subject are kinda getting ridiculous honestly.
guys business 101 you can always lower pricing in retail but it is almost impossible to raise them. start high then go low where you need to. sony will get it right btw on a 4hr rental can u convert it into a 7 or 30 day option and have the money credited to the longer rental? thats the way it should work
4 hour rentals should be free one time per title. If the game is good you'll get hooked and buy more time.
How outrageous can the prices be when you are giving someone a chance to play PS3 games and they don't even have to have a PS3? Take me to the Redbox that's vending PS3s with the game disks for $1.99 per day and then you guys can claim "outrageous" prices. The prices just need a little adjusting.
HOLD the Phone haters, this ain't microsft, its Sony and they care about their fanbase http://i.imgur.com/15IZBij....
never rent games just wait for new games prices to drop , dont get new releases when they first come out. If your patient and look for deals you can own games for cheap.
How many more of these articles are we gonna get on n4g? >_>
Oh my god we get it
£0.99p for 24h rental £1.99 for 7 days rental £3.99 for 30 days rental ^ that's for any two titles, that's the kind of pricing we want if not even cheaper. bear in mind these are old games, if certain publishers disagree then their games should be struck off. if the rental of "old" games isn't dirt cheap the service will deserve to fail, I will not support it neither will vast majority. ps. I can pick up alone in the dark new for around £4.99 what would possess me to rent it for £10 lol do they think we're mad!!!
Wish there was an option to own it digitally if I own it physically ;-;
I agreed with the article, and that's why I am boycotting the beta. To "try" anything with the beta is sending the message to Sony that it is "OK" to set the price so ridiculously high. Wake the f*uck up, Sony!
Sony's not going to hear you on N4G.
