You’re definitely going to see more of the upcoming PS4 exclusive racing game Driveclub at Gamescom, but Game Director Paul Rustchynsky saw fit to provide a few more pieces of information before the event.
Just give us the game already :(. After reading the stories over the (years? ;) ) it seems like a perfectionist might be in charge.
And you are always in good hands with a perfectionist that knows what they are doing. Nothing that has ever been done by this company would ever lead one to believe they have a bad leader.
I prefer to have a good game be delayed than a disappointing game be rushed. As a huge fan of the Motorstorm franchise, I know Evolution makes good racing games and Im still very much excited to play Drive Club.
It would be cool, but I expect head tracking more in a sim than I do an arcade racer like this. I didn't ask for head tracking in Ridge Racer or NFS; I do expect it in games like Gran Turismo, Forza or Project Cars.
As cool as it is in Gran Turismo and War Thunder, I can live without it. Hoping 3D support happens for the next Motorstorm though. I love 3D.
Agreed. I have a 3D tv and would love to see PS4 games in 3D.
I love how this game was delayed and still features less than half of the options every other racing game has available today.
it has 55 tracks and 55 cars, that's a different car for every track, just as well you never played ridge racer with its 4 cars and 4 tracks
And still not enough options like any other racer out there.
So the only check box still upto now completed is cool weather effects... Lets not talk about the very limited selection of vehicles, track or features of the game but lets dazzle the potential gamer with yet more info about the weather. The cat and laser pen effect.
Yer a dumbazz, dumbazz.
I would careless about the head tracking thing, but i hope they'll add 3D support. Anyways, it's 97 days left from the release so i'm looking forward to playing this. "sniffing' i smell trolls!
No morpheus either then i suppose :(
Just wait for the Morpheus remaster. Wait... Am I giving Sony some bad boy ideas? : (
It's down to Drive Club and Project Cars for me. I know Project Cars will be more sim, Drive Club looks very pretty but I'm not sure how the handling will be. Hopefully I'll see enough at gamescom to convince me one way or the other.
