The Last of Us Remastered Review (PSU): an almost perfect translation to the next generation

My prediction is at least 3 million physical copies + whatever the digital sales amount to.

We're very jealous of you for being able to experience it for the first time in such a perfect way. Whatever you do avoid any spoilers, and TAKE YOUR TIME with the game. It's a masterpiece.

3 Million is a bit high IMO, considering that it did about 1.5 or so within the first few days of it's launch on ps3, and three million a few weeks later counting digital sales.

Not saying it's not possible, just unlikely considering that's about half the PS4 installbase, whereas the PS3 had waaaaaay more.

Well 5 star rating based off of around 2000k ratings and 4.2k likes on PS store. I'd say numbers are big considering Infamous second son has been out 6 months, sold over 2 mil and only has 10k likes on store.

Call of Duty Ghosts has 30k likes on the PSN while The LAst of Us already has 32k. That's a good sign

thats not really saying much considering a few months ago they said they get about 5000-10000 players a day.

id say anywhere from 2-3 million would be my guess (in the first few months). i just finished the story completely for the first time and the game really is amazing. i played the first few chapters at my friends when it came out on ps3, but besides that, i was like you, i didnt know anything that happened throughout the rest of the game. id highly recommend playing it asap. some of the scenes made me sit back and just think "wow". truly a great game and deserving of the hype.

now its time to start MP

I played the main story on ps3 but didn't get to play. Left behind until now and I'm so happy that I had something new to me makes it that much more special :). As I look at my friends list I see alot of remastered so I'm guessing there is good success here
