War Thunder to Receive Oculus Rift DK2 Support 'Soon'

VRFocus - Gaijin Entertainment has been a long time supporter of virtual reality (VR) technology, integrating the original developer kit for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) in its free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) World War 2 combat title, War Thunder. This week a tease from the developer has now confirmed that its title will also be supporting the Oculus Rift's second development kit (DK2) in the near future.

Now you can see ridiculously overpowered Russian planes shoot you down in first person! Yay! Let's make the game more historically accurate/ balanced before we start putting in new features Gaijin. This new battle rating system is TERRIBLE, planes should be grouped into tiers depending on when the planes saw serious service.

It's sad that it's so hard for some companies to understand that a MP game should be fair and balanced.
They'd feel differently if they had to suffer through many actual random matches online.

Edit - I'm glad that so many are working with VR now, I'm already saving up for the Morpheus etc.

I just started playing a week ago, and I noticed the same thing. If I am downed immediately, it's either a Russian or German plane. I know that they had some pretty powerful armament but damn!!! LOl

Ehh... is it me or does the head tracking not work right on here? My camera works well with all other games that implement it, but this one the camera sticks in a corner....when i'm looking straight at the tv!!!! lOl. smh they need to fix many more things in the game before adding oculus support.
