WC writes: "There are certain moments we encounter in video games that illicit a very emotional reaction from us, and it tends to be those hot button moments that boast the best staying power and which tend to stick with us forever. Maybe one day you’ll be telling your grandchildren about that time you were playing that game and a moment side-swiped you unexpectedly and pulled an audible WTF through your lips."

These groundbreaking video games changed gaming forever and drew in scores of fans in the process.
From first-person espionage thrillers to the original installments of beloved franchises, check out the greatest retro video games we recommend for anyone.
I’d have taken a few of those out. Prefer Sonic over Sonic 2. Outrun should be in there. Maybe even Pong as millions of people had fun with that even if it was repetitive. Final Fight pipped any Streets of Rage game, although Streets of Rage had the better soundtrack. Too many to list l guess. To me, retro gaming is the 1980s, maybe going into early 1990s.

One of my fave WTF moments was the Ending to Resistance 2.
I just could not believe they did what they did.
Good list compared to others I have read. Hate having to click 10 pages though.
That click-bait picture though
Doesn't have Senator Armstrong. Lots of WTF moments with that guy.
