Here’s why PS4 and PS3 fans should be very excited right now

Summer can be a rough time of year for gamers. The slow release schedule coupled with the beginning of a new console generation has made this summer especially difficult, but things are finally going to start picking back up in August, as evidenced by a rather strong lineup of games for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

Vita has no games, eh? Well I definitely see some Vita games in there. So yes, I'm quite excited for both.

Nice list but Sniper Elite 3 and TLOU will hold me over until Sept. October when saying "PS4 game list" is simply undermining what the vast number of games that will be released are. lOl

my picks..

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (PS Vita)
Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3)
Hohokum (PS Vita)
Metrico (PS Vita)
Minecraft (PS Vita)
The Swapper (PS Vita)
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls (PS4)
Metro Redux (PS4)

This is why it's exciting that the PS4 is doing well, there won't be any shortage of games being released.

@Dark exactly, I still have a backlog of ps3 games to get back to "Metro" is one of those on the list so I refuse to get the Remaster when I already have 1 of the 2 on the ps3 for free.

Sooooo many games and my Vita oh my I can't wait until NA get the 64gb card already.

The Vita has no games, is synonymous with the PS4 has no games! In both cases it fictitious and the sad rambling of those who hopelessly cling on to anything that could possibly help them sleep better at night!

Along with games built strictly for my Vita, I find that any game I buy for PS4 is a plus for my Vita, because sure there are those who'll say cross play is a bad idea or, not the same as having a game built specifically for the Vita, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Also something that is often overlooked r games like FF14, Warframe, War Thunder (I belive its called), DCUO, and soon P lanetside 2. I know a lot of ppl who play these games.

Yes many r on the ps3 but take FF14 for example. It is stunning and looka and runs just like the PC version. It has kept me busy for months. Other than DS2 I havnt touched my ps3 at all.

Agreed. And I use remote play all the time. Either in bed or while my wife is watching shitty movies on my 55inch that the ps4 is hooked up to.

JBSleek3658d ago

Of course you should be excited! PS4 is a great platform to game on. August looks great.

Let’s School review - Games Asylum

Games Asylum: "Well, this is uncanny. This school management sim bears a startling resemblance to Two Point Campus, especially when it comes to planning and decorating rooms. Be sure to add a window and a radiator, along with a plant or rubbish bin. Indeed, certain aspects are almost identical – it’s just like revisiting Two Point Campus, only something is…off. It’s the visual style that leads to the uncanny valley feeling, using a low-poly PlayStation/Saturn aesthetic. An odd choice, considering the 32-bit consoles didn’t have a great amount of management sims. The PS1 did have Theme Hospital though – with Two Point Hospital being Campus’ predecessor, so we guess we can give it a pass on its artistic intent."

I almost bought this yesterday lol. Then I remembered I have 1000 games I need to play and I would probably touch this once.
