The two previous DLCs Onslaught and Devastation came with weapons that would give you a slight advantage. Invasiondoesn’t. Onslaught and Devastation also recreated an old Modern Warfare map updating it with new paths and making it fit into the Ghosts world. Again, Invasion does not. Even the Extinction level was far shorter and much easier to beat than the last one.
Skewed and Reviewed have posted a review of the new Invasion DLC for Call of Duty Ghosts. The included video with their written reviews of the levels to illustrate the many issues with the content from lag, camping, and various gameplay issues.
HITC TECH says: "I play CoD: Ghosts multiplayer a few times per week, usually when I just want to unwind a little and not play games that require me to follow an in-depth story or spend 45 mins+ in one of those lovely Dota 2 matches. Whilst I like many of the maps in the game, I tend to yearn for more variety after a while, and that’s where I’m glad I got my hands on the latest DLC pack, Invasion."
