Can someone tell me wtf this does? I have a turtle beach headset and I just plug it USB into my PS4 and I get audio out of it and I can use the mic..sooo

This is specifically for Turtle Beach P11, PX11, PX22, PX21, X12, X11, Z22, Call of Duty Ghosts Shadow, Call of Duty Ghosts Spectre, Call of Duty Black Ops II KILO, Call of Duty MW3 Foxtrot, or Marvel SEVEN headsets

The article says: "The PS3 focused Ear Force PX22 has a similar problem. I use my P11 on my PS4 also by just plugging it in the usb port. The only thing that you can't do is control the chat and game volume separately. Not worth $35 to be able to do that though.
