The Last of Us won't receive any further single player content, Naughty Dog has confirmed.
Following reports earlier this week that more downloadable content is on the way, community strategist Arne Meyer clarified there is "definitely not" more campaign chapters planned, but revealed more multiplayer add-ons would arrive throughout the year.
"We just wanted to say when we released the Remastered version, we know there's a lot of DLC out there, and that we weren't going to stop supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions," he told Digital Spy.
"We do have some DLC planned, it'll be multiplayer focused. We're not ready to talk about the details yet, but throughout the rest of the year we'll have some DLC drops."
All downloadable content for the game will be Cross Buy across both PS3 and PS4 platforms.
PlayStation - The Concert is a magical musical experience for fans of the brand.
Two award-winning masterpieces, together in one incredible collection.
As expected. Unless it's going to Xbox or Switch 2, we can stop hearing about these older games now? We can move on to just news about new games?
This will be the 4th time Sony sells us The Last of Us Part 1.. And the 2nd time on the PS5.
Store says I already own it. I guess it’s just a straight twin-pack. Looks like they added 4 maps to ‘No Return’.
billibil-kun: "As The Last of Us season 2 prepares to air on HBO, we've spotted a mysterious reference to a special edition of a physical PS5 game from the franchise. Here's our take on the game, which remains unclear for now."
I hope it's both ps5 games bundled with all updates including the new no return add ons for April. I'll triple dip on that.
Thats fine with me. I loved the single player and it was left on a great ending for a sequel. Shouldn't be messed with. They should focus on maybe new multiplayer maps on PS4 and weapons. The multiplayer is so much fun, looking forward to playing this on my PS4.
shame :( I thought the left behind dlc was simply amazing!
Obviously
Not surprising, it has been out for more than a year.
