In an interview with AusGamers, Platinum Games co-founder Atsushi Inaba revealed that he would love to see Bayonetta playable in Super Smash Bros and added he would love o see her as part of Nintendo's Amiiba collection, too.
"Honestly, my personal opinion, I would love to have Bayonetta in Super Smash Bros. I’m waiting; and with Amiibo!" he told the site.

I mean they pretty much killed 3 big characters. They killed Jeanne, Luka and Bayonetta herself and it's not the fact they died it's how they died, we've seen Jeanne and Bayonetta survive countless things yet they go out by the lamest ways possible.
I love Bayonetta, honestly if they did this I would finally have a reason to start playing my Wii again!
I'd like to see her in the game, too. It would be a nice call-out to all of Platinum's efforts, and when people see her in Smash, if they haven't heard of her before now, seeing her in that game would make them curious about her.
Good in-game advertisement and a great new character in the roster.
