They should mention the Vita version in E3, seriously we need to shut the vita haters up. I am buying one soon BTW

MatthewBandeira3659d ago

I agree. I will be getting Grim Fandango for the Vita.

Yi-Long3659d ago

I hope it will be cross-buy.

NewMonday3659d ago

they did mention it for the Vita

levian3659d ago

You can't say that a game that is available on multiple platforms is a selling point for the Vita...

Thehyph3659d ago

I'm definitely getting it on Vita, although I feel in my gut that it will be cross buy. Profit. (hopefully)

buying it also sony mention stuff about Vita, it frustrates us owners when people say Vita has no games

FlameHawk3659d ago

Sure Vita has games but how many AAA Vita exclusives have come out since for the past months? Last one I can think of was Tearaway and that was months ago.

Soul Sacrifice Delta
Demon Gaze
Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars
Deception IV: Blood Ties
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
TOUKIDEN: The Age of Demons
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God
Ys: Memories of Celceta

FlameHawk3659d ago

Soul Sacrifice Delta (Same game with more DLC)
Demon Gaze (Not a AAA)
Conception II (Wasn't good but was bad)
Deception IV (Was ok)
Danganronpa (Remake of a PSP game and not AAA)
Toukiden: The Age of Demons ( Was good)
Sorcery Saga (Average)

So basically Toukiden and Ys made the list. Not to mention that Sony just said less AAA for Vita.

Define what a AAA game should be.

FlameHawk3659d ago (Edited 3659d ago )

@ger2396, it's how much money is spent on developing it. That's why you here the AAA vs indie complaint all the time because indies are usually low budget and are never considered AAA.
Do you really think a visual novel is going to cost more than a action game? Nope.

showtimefolks3659d ago

this is such a crappy argument, why does a game have to be AAA for us to have fun? that is why big AAA games are all the same while indies are taking some real risks

Vita has a lot of software whether AAA or smaller titles, and who really wants to play a 50 hours game on a Vita anyway, i like the fact Vita has shorter games for better sitting experience

That's your subjective opinion. For me:

- SS Delta = great
- Demon Gaze = great
- Conception 2 = only play the demo. Yes it's a bit standard but the game not exclusive though
- Deception IV = great
- Danganronpa = great. Yes it's a remake from PSP but still exclusive. It has 80 on metacritic and not every 'AAA' games can achieve that too
- Toukiden = great
- Sorcery Saga = never play it but a lot of my friends like it
- YS Celceta = great

There's more 3rd party game for vita like Tales of Hearts R, Danganronpa 2, Akiba's Trip, Oddworld, Child of Light, The Wolf Among Us, Samurai Warriors 4, etc. Sony 1st party also have Freedom Wars, Oreshika, Gravity Rush 2, Helldivers, and only god knows what they prepare for TGS.

How video games company spent a lot of money will not automaticly make the game AAA or better than other games who only spent low or medium budget. You obviously knew this right?

NewMonday3659d ago

These games are the same scale of 3DS games, so you don't consider 2D Nintendo games as AAA?
