Video games don't rot your brain, they're actually good for you! Here's five parentally reassuring reasons why.
They definitely require more brain functioning that TV. I always laugh when people look down on games but spend their free time watching reality shows, sitcoms, teen dramas, and other fantasies. If they were watching documentaries and reading then sure, they'd have a leg to stand on but thinking your more mentally enriched by watching most TV is ridiculous. And when your not getting destroyed online, the euphoria of victory or amusement of random online hijinks must be good for you at least psychologically. Plus, after a bad day, is it better to hold it in and ruminate, or take out your frustration harmlessly on online people....buy killing them...over and over.
