Best thumb grip covers for PS4

Same, they're basically a bare stub now. So much for that Sony quality. Are these covers a suitable fix or should I buy a new DS4?

Speaking of which did they fixed this problem yet? I would hate to sink money into a new DS4 only to have them wear down again.

DS4 Controllers break so easily. That's why these thumb pads are necessary.

yes u can but when u get them back order some xbone ones from ebay.
feel alot better imo and just keep the orginal ones in cupboard

why would I do that? had a ps4 for 5 months now and not a bit of trouble.

Sony will replace your controller free of charge if you contact them and mail it to them.

I've heard people complain about that.... I feel luck... I have 2 DS4s from launch and play every day and the controllers are still pristine. I wonder what percentage of controllers really have the problem or if they are ones that came out of a certain lot/factory around launch.

Same here. I have two launch DS4 and no problem w them so far. So I think the problem was corrected at some point and only early batches came out defective.

it was the compound they used at launch supposedly.
thats what the rep told me anyway when i sent mine back.
i have put xbone sticks in mine and it feels better for games like fifa,but on shooters i use my 2nd pad with ps4sticks

Nothing can beat the original DS3 sticks. I wish the analog sticks were unscrewable, so that way they would be easier to replace.

UFC didn't help. Both of mine are going. And one of them is only a month old. The only thing that has really been a negative for me so far. The second your palms get sweaty you can feel the rubber starting to peel.

it's odd how there can be such wildly varying degrees of quality in these sticks. I've had mine for 5 months with no trouble - and I play the hell out of resogun.

Mine are both on the left stick. The right sticks are fine.

I barely played but trials fusion took it out of my left stick where it's torn on the left side, the rubber feels so weak on mine you could just tear it off in a minute, ps3 on the other hand had invincible joysticks.

I ordered 3$ silicone ones one ebay when my right stick started getting a little crack. I love the ds3 rounded sticks so I got ones that mimick them.

I've used get tabs and grip it - both work well.

I just glue a small circle of sanding screen to each stick and let it ride. The only play in my sticks now is the skin on my thumb shifting back and forth.
