There are indeed people who play CoD for a living. Christopher Duarte, AKA Parasite, is one of those people. At the tender age of 14, he began his eSports career. “Many of the [pro players] now have been around since 2009,” says Duarte. “We were all 14 to 16 years old. The scene grew up with us.”
Initially, his parents were skeptical about the career path Duarte had set upon, but it wasn’t a concern for the game’s age rating, it was more about the viability of gaming as a career. Regardless of the concerns, his parents signed the consent forms required for an underage player to enter the tournaments and he was on his way.
We have many great Call of Duty games with bad Campaigns in the series and Call of Duty 2025 could very well become one of them.
