Only 20k on ng2 thought for sure it drive up sales a bit.

at least DBZ on the ps3 Is mopping the floor with the AAA exclusive NG2. Not to mention it murdered the 360 version of the game. I pity M$.

Isn't the title a little obvious and unnecessary since we're talking about the Xbox 360 in Japan?
This would be more of a surprise if it were US numbers.

It`s pointless to expect something else.
But M$ does pretty good job for trying, they released so many japan oriented games, much more then PS3 have at this moment.
Even some western releases come by several weeks earlier then ps3 version,
and still no effect.

First xbox failed because of no japan oriented games.
Second xbox failed because of high failure rate.
Looks like a BAD karma for M$.

It's surprising to see that a PS3 game outsold a Wii game in the U.S.

Japan will always be Nintendo and Sony country. Microsoft might as well quit the Japanese/Asian market because it's not really worth their time. The only country that really appreciates the 360 is the U.S., with the U.K. coming in second, but that's it. Sony and Nintendos consoles have always had worldwide appeal and that is what it takes to win a console war.

Any true DBZ fan knows all New Dragonball Z games always end near Cell Saga! Don't believe me go ask Dende! when DBZ Burst 3 hits its worth the Purchase! until than Goku try yur best to sell this!

i agree. the title says ng2 was a flop but 20k on the first day is real good considerin the install base of the 360. not a flop at all.

to this game for such a long time, now i have it i can say that i am not impressed with the story mode, it is way to short. but the fighting system is great, and love going on XboxLIVE.

i also have Ninja Gaiden 2 but have yet to try it because of DBZ and work =(

Considering the 360's low install base in Japan, 20,000 doesn't seem all that bad. If you judge it against the sales of a Wii or PS3 game in Japan I'm sure it's low, but compared to the sales of other 360 games it's probably pretty good.

20K sales in JPN for NG2 is a big SUCCESS. This is JPN & 36o we're typing about here. Anything over 13k in sales over there is an achievement.
In fact I have NG2 right now but I'm currently playing the World ends with you/ Bet it'll be awesome though.
