Jeanne Stevens is an accomplished attorney, and she's served as a prosecutor. She's active in her local church parish, she's a mother of four, she runs her own business, and she's a volunteer librarian at her children's school. Recently, Jeanne added a new feather to her cap: the Republican Party in the state of Connecticut nominated Jeanne to run for the State House of Representatives.
However, Jeanne isn't your run-of-the-mill politician. Recently, she even mentioned that she enjoys playing World of Warcraft.
The writers at WanderingGoblin.com contacted Jeanne for an interview, and she turned out to be a very good sport. Their snarky, tongue-in-cheek questions? She handled them all, with an appealing combination of political astuteness and smirking humor. They baited her to make fun of Jack Thompson's antics, or even Congressman Mark Kirk's grandstanding against Second Life. She was wise to their tricks. You can pretty much feel Jeanne rolling her eyes as she answers some of their more humorous questions. Here's a snippet:
Q: Any truth to the rumor that 'I Am Murloc' is going to be your official campaign song?
A: I can neither confirm nor deny that rumor – oh wait, that makes me sound like a politician. I much prefer the Leroy Jenkins clips.
Jeanne proves she isn't an ordinary politician - instead, she is fun and funny, and the interview is quite entertaining. You can check out this unique interview with her, in its entirety, at WanderingGoblin.com.

"17. We hear that Jack Thompson's going to be looking for a job really, really soon. Any chance he can work in your administration once you're elected? After all, he is an experienced attorney.
He’s entitled to his opinions."
